On March 6th, a mission group from McKinney Christian Academy took a trip to Guatemala. The students and leaders stayed at a mission house, where they did daily devotions and bonded with their fellow students. The mission group went to a village and spent four days building two houses for two families in great need. The mission group also went to the school within the village, where they were able to bond with the students and show love to them in a way they may not receive very often. Senior, Manny Weaver, had this to say about the trip, “It really was such a great experience, and I connected with a lot of the students. It was also really cool to see how much of an impact we really have on these people.”
