Today’s Senior Spotlight is Katherine Abouzeid and Porter Carroll:

Abouzeid has attended McKinney Christian Academy since seventh grade. During her time at MCA, she has been involved in basketball, cross country, softball, choir, student ambassador work and National Honor Society. Outside of school, she participates in taekwondo. After graduating MCA, she plans to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to study space operations. Her favorite MCA memory is listening to music with locals on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, and a fun fact about her is that she has a second-degree black belt in taekwondo. Abouzeid’s favorite Bible verse is Ecclesiastes 3:1.

Carroll has attended McKinney Christian Academy since tenth grade. During his time at MCA, he has been involved in baseball and National Honor Society. After graduating MCA, he plans to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to study aeronautics. His favorite MCA memory is winning the baseball state championship, and a fun fact about him is that he has a black belt in taekwondo. Carroll’s favorite Bible verse is 2 Timothy 1:7.
