Today’s Senior Spotlight is Katie Ballard and Tennyson Clark:

Katie Ballard has attended McKinney Christian Academy since kindergarten.  During her time at McKinney Christian Academy, she has been involved in Varsity Softball, JV Volleyball, and State Level TAPPS Academics. Outside of school, she is part of the NHS. After graduating MCA, she plans to attend the University of Utah to study Biology.  Her favorite MCA memory is during Guatemala 2026, when everyone sat in a circle singing “Do It Again”. Katie Ballard’s favorite Bible verse is Zephaniah 3:17, ”The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love, he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.

Tennyson Clark has attended McKinney Christian Academy since second grade. During his time at MCA, he has been involved in Varsity Baseball and various Leadership Awards. Outside of school, he participated in Select Baseball, McKinney Youth Leadership, National Spanish Kids Awards, and HBC Kids Ministry. After graduating MCA, he plans to attend Dordt University to play baseball and study engineering. His favorite MCA memory was traveling with the MCA Baseball team to Waco. Tennyson Clark’s favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plan I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
