Today’s Senior Spotlight is Mary Brasher and Cody Dow:

Mary Brasher has attended McKinney Christian Academy since tenth grade. During her time at MCA, she has been involved in soccer. Outside of school, she likes to lead a middle school small group every week. After graduating MCA, she plans to go to Texas A&M to study political science. Her favorite MCA memory was winning State with her team all three years. Mary’s favorite Bible verse is John 13:7. 

Cody Dow has attended McKinney Christian Academy since eleventh grade. During his time at MCA, he has been involved in football and track and field. Outside of school, he likes to play football. After graduating MCA, he plans to go to Blinn College to play football. His favorite MCA memories all revolve around Football. Some of those memories include winning the first game ever on campus in MCA history. Scoring 9 touchdowns in a single game and still losing. Starting and running a Bible study with teammates. And the core memories of all the summer practices and fun we had.  Cody’s favorite Bible verse is Acts 20:24.

Grey Royal is currently a freshman and entering her fifth year at McKinney Christian Academy. She enjoys cheering for her school during the fall and winter seasons. However, during the spring, she runs track for the school. In her free time, she spends most of her time cheering competitively. Grey is excited for her first year of writing as a staff writer for the Mane Edition and is grateful for this opportunity.  Her favorite bible verse is Psalms 91:7-8, which reads:  “A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes of the punishment of the wicked.”
