Today’s Senior Spotlight is Sadie Zbranek and Marit Carlson :

Sadie has attended McKinney Christian Academy since kindergarten. During her time at MCA, she  has been involved in Varsity Basketball, Track and field, Softball and Soccer. Outside of school, she likes to play club soccer. After graduating MCA, she plans to attend Dallas Baptist University. Her favorite MCA memory is winning state in soccer with all of her friends. 

Marit has attended McKinney Christian Academy since 9th grade. During her time at MCA, she  has been involved in Varsity Basketball. Outside of school, she likes to serve in church. After graduating MCA, she plans to attend Dallas Baptist University. Her favorite MCA memory is going on the senior retreat with her friends, and a fun fact about her  is she is from Minnesota. Marit’s favorite Bible verse is John 16:33

Carrington Lansford is currently a freshman and attending her fifth year at MCA. She enjoys playing basketball in the winter, cheering in the fall, and running track in the spring. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. This is her first year in newspaper as a staff writer and she is excited to be a part of it. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13, ” I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
