On Saturday, April 25, the Middle School and Upper School choirs performed in their annual spring dinner show. This year’s theme was disco night, with songs from the ’70s and ’80s, giving the audience a blast from the past and plenty to enjoy.
The show began with solos from both middle schoolers and upper schoolers, with impressive songs sung by freshman, Madelyn Swann, junior, Carys Mejan, sophomore, Judah Krause, and eighth grader, Charlotte Monroe. The audience then began eating their dinner during the Upper School girls’ choir performance, and the main show began. The Middle School and Upper School choirs sang songs such as “Lovely Day” and “Blame It on the Boogie,” and the show came to a close with “The Lord Bless You and Keep You.” Later, when asked about how the show went, junior, Jude Bleeker, said, “The choir concert went great, and Mrs. Jordan did a great job organizing and directing it. Thanks to Mrs. Jordan and the whole choir for doing great.”
Overall, all of the students displayed talent and care throughout their entire show and made a wonderful impact as this school year comes to a close.
