Today’s Senior Spotlight is Hally Carlson and Adam Gicheru:

Carlson has attended McKinney Christian Academy since ninth grade. During her time at MCA, she has been involved in athletic trainer work, student ambassador work, spiritual formation team activities, Mu Alpha Theta and National Honor Society. Outside of school, she volunteers in kids ministry at church. After graduating MCA, she plans to attend Dallas Baptist University to study nursing. Her favorite MCA memory is starting a book club senior year, and a fun fact about her is that she likes to bake. Carlson’s favorite Bible verses are 1 Peter 1:8-9.

Gicheru has attended McKinney Christian Academy since pre-kindergarten. During his time at MCA, he has been involved in track and field, student government, student ambassador work, Mu Alpha Theta and National Honor Society. Outside of school, he is involved in mission work with the Great Commission Outreach. After graduating MCA, he plans to attend the University of Florida to study biomedical engineering. His favorite MCA memory is getting second place in the 4×100 meter relay at a state track meet his sophomore year, and a fun fact about him is that he is learning to play piano. Gicheru’s favorite Bible verses are 1 Corinthians 9:26-27.
