On Tuesday, May 4, MCA parents and upper schoolers gathered in the gym for the award ceremony. The ceremony began with the presentation of Academic and Diligence Awards. The Academic Award was given to the student with the highest grade average in each course, and recipients received a medal of recognition. The Diligence Award recognized the student chosen by the teacher as the most hardworking and dedicated in the course, and recipients received a certificate of recognition. Awards were announced by subject and grade level. Students who earned a GPA between 3.7 and 4.19 received the Academic Excellence Award and were presented with medals. In contrast, students who achieved a GPA of 4.2 or higher were recognized on the Headmaster’s Honor Roll. MCA exists to honor Jesus Christ by teaching students to live biblically through the education of mind, body, and spirit, so the school also acknowledged students who demonstrated strong Christian character by presenting the Timothy Award to two students from each grade. Freshmen, Madison Diedrick and Camden Holley, received the award. for the sophomores, Allison Driskell and Luke Van Vorst received the honor. Juniors, Sam Sunnecks and Carys Mejan also received this, and seniors, Luke Webb and Meisy Martin. Toward the end of the ceremony, the Salutatorian and Valedictorian for the 2025–2026 school year were announced, with Meisy Martin named Salutatorian and Anna Holm named Valedictorian.
