The McKinney community hosts many events to honor our servicemen and women for everything they do for our country. McKinney is hosting a Wreath Laying Ceremony for World War I Veterans this upcoming Thursday, April 6th. It is being hosted in the Veterans Memorial park from 6:00 to 7:30pm. The ceremony will be held to honor and commemorate the local veterans for their involvement in WWI. It will be hosted by the Daughters of the American Revolution with the McKinney Armed Services Memorial Board. There will be many guest speakers who will share and honor World War I veterans. It is free for anyone who wants to come and join others to honor those who served. This is one important event that you and your family do not want to miss out on.
