Today’s Senior Spotlight is Caden Brown and Emily Snyder.

Brown has been attending McKinney Christian Academy since his freshman year. During his time at MCA, he played varsity baseball and football. Outside of school, Brown plays select baseball and enjoys fishing. After graduation, Brown plans to attend Texas Tech University, majoring in Kinesiology. His favorite memory at MCA is physics class with Mr. Roller and flying pigs. A fun fact about Brown is that he enjoys baking and has been learning about it. His favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 27:17.

Snyder has been attending MCA since her junior year. While at MCA, Snyder has been involved with the art program. Outside of school, Snyder plays the violin in a youth orchestra and enjoys anything creative. After graduation, Snyder will attend John Brown University and double major in Art & Illustration and Psychology. Her favorite memory at MCA is study hall with Mrs. Greenwell-Strunk. A fun fact about Snyder is that she loves food. Her favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 41:10

Nate Krusing has attended MCA since kindergarten and is currently in the 9th grade. This is his second year in newspaper. He enjoys time with his friends and family and loves playing sports. His favorite sports are baseball and Football. He also enjoys watching basketball. His favorite memory at MCA is winning the Middle School baseball championship. He is looking forward to being a newspaper writer and playing a role in contributing to the Mane Edition. His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
