Starting on Thursday March 21, McKinney Christian Academy Upper School Theater performed two shows of the play Clue. The cast of 14 had been practicing since homecoming. The set was built and created by theatre director Julie Tucker, Nicolas Cruz and the Mustang technical theatre class. “Clue was a really fun play to do for my first year of high school. I know I wasn’t completely prepared for all the long hours of rehearsal, but I think it’s safe to say that it paid off,” said Zoe Brudwick, who played Wadsworth in the play. “Due to the earlier Easter holiday, we had a much shorter rehearsal schedule with only a few evening practices before performance. I am so proud of how everyone took on the challenge to produce a successful show regardless of the schedule limitations,” said Tucker. The class is now looking towards the upcoming TAPPS competitions and performances.
