Middle School Volleyball Defeats First Baptist

MCA Middle School Volleyball teams win both games.

On Tuesday, August 29 the McKinney Christian Academy Middle School Volleyball faced off against First Baptist Academy at home. The D2 volleyball team won in two sets 25-9 and 25-8. The D1 team also won in two sets 25-4 and 25-2. After the game, D1 Eighth grader Bella Goodwin said, “We all played really well, we used hard work and team focus to bring us to the win.” Their next game will be on Thursday, August 31 against Parish.

Wyatt Neale is currently a Sophomore and this is his first year at MCA. Neale is excited to get involved with the Newspaper and exercise his creative writing skills. Neale also serves on the Worship Band at MCA and enjoys spending time with his friends and family. His biggest priority is his relationship with the Lord. He hopes to make an impact this year as well as great new memories. His favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11-12 which says "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you."
