On Wednesday, September 27, McKinney Christian Academy’s fourth-grade students presented their projects for Mrs. Cornwall’s science class. They were instructed to pick an endangered animal, research that animal, and then present a poster board in class. When asked about the project, Cornwall said “The students were able to learn how sin affects our animals and how to guard against animal endangerment in the future.” Students chose a variety of animals including a Beluga whale, a quokka, and a Komodo dragon. Fourth-grade student Beau Carlson said, “I enjoyed getting the fun facts about the African wild dog, I learned that they keep and regurgitate food for their family members.”
