On Wednesday February 21, McKinney Christian Academy’s third grade class took a field trip to the Dallas World Aquarium. The class got the chance to explore many different exhibits such as an aquarium canopy, mundo maya, jungle, and the Madagascar. The class also learned about many different species of birds such as Bird Reptiles, Fish, Mammals & Amphibians. When third grader Sophia Schweitzer was asked what her favorite part of the trip was she said it was the animals. “My favorite animal was the otters. There were so cute. The were play fighting. The habitat they live in is a water habitat with some rocks and grass and they had a long slide.”
