Today’s Senior Spotlight is Jacob Dover-Smith and Joseph Kennedy:

Dover-Smith has been attending McKinney Christian Academy since his sixth grade year. While at MCA, he has been in Fine Arts, basketball, football and ran track. Outside of school Dover-Smith runs for a track club. After graduation Dover-Smith will be attending Abilene Christian University to run track. His favorite memory at MCA is sophomore basketball season. A fun fact about Dover-Smith is that he likes to play guitar. His favorite Bible verse is John 3:16.

Kennedy had been attending MCA since his 8th grade year. While at MCA, Kennedy has been in journalism and choir. Outside of school, he hangs out with friends. After graduation, Kennedy will be attending Abilene Christian University majoring in Psychology. His favorite memory at MCA is Mr. Post’s class sophomore year. A fun fact about Kennedy is that he is taller than Breckin Billington. His favorite Bible verse is John 10:10.

Nate Krusing has attended MCA since kindergarten and is currently in the 9th grade. This is his second year in newspaper. He enjoys time with his friends and family and loves playing sports. His favorite sports are baseball and Football. He also enjoys watching basketball. His favorite memory at MCA is winning the Middle School baseball championship. He is looking forward to being a newspaper writer and playing a role in contributing to the Mane Edition. His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
