On Saturday, September 28, the McKinney Christian Academy Middle School D1 volleyball team played in an all-day tournament. The first game was against Rockwall Heritage and was quickly won. The second game was against Lucas Christian Academy and was also a victory. The third game was an overall good fight but was a loss against Coram Deo Plano. The fourth game was a win against Prestonwood North, and the fifth was a loss against Liberty Christian Academy. The team placed third in the tournament and had great results for their hard work in preparing for the weekend. Eighth grader Sarah Webb shared her thoughts about the day saying, “We did really good when we would pray before the games and when our team had a lot of energy and communication. Overall, even though we lost two of the games, it was a really good tournament and I had a lot of fun with my friends.”
Their next game will be on Monday, September 30, against Prince of Peace.
