On October 8, the D2 Middle School volleyball team played Rockwall Heritage. The first game ended with the score being 25-12. Sixth grader Ariel Kergosien had a 12-0 run with her serves. The score of the second set was 25-14. The game went very well for the D2 Lady Mustangs. Seventh grader Jada Westra shared her thoughts on how the game went by saying, “The game went really well and our serving stood out very much. We need to work on serve receive but other than that our team is really good.” The D1 Middle School volleyball team also played Rockwall Heritage. The final score of the first set was 21-25. The Lady Mustangs fought hard but they unfortunately fell short a couple of points. In the second set, the final score was 19-25. The girls fought hard but fell short of a win to the Lady Eagles. Head Coach, Drew Noah shared his thoughts on the game by saying “The girls had a hard time communicating and this wasn’t their best game. We have more to work on, but we are ready to work harder and get a win next game.”
Their next game will be on Sunday, October 20.
