Today’s senior spotlight is Caleb Atherton and Jaden Brock:

Atherton has been attending McKinney Christian Academy since the 3rd grade. While at MCA he has participated in football, basketball, track and yearbook. Outside of school he enjoys volunteering at his church. After graduation, Atherton plans on attending Abilene Christian University and studying business and economics. His favorite MCA memory is going to all the sporting events with my brother and friends. A fun fact about Atherton is that he can juggle up to five things at a time. His favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 2:4-5.

Brock has been attending McKinney Christian Academy since Kindergarten. While at MCA, she has ran Track & Field and been a member of both Vocal Ensemble and Theatre. Outside of school, she runs club track and plays the piano. Brock is still undecided on school, but she plans to major in economics. Her favorite memory at MCA is going to All-State Choir senior year with her best friend and Choir teacher, Amy Jordan. A fun fact about Brock is that she loves to sing. Her favorite Bible verse is Luke 8:22-25.

Audrey Wedemeyer, Editor-In-Chief
Audrey Wedemeyer is a junior and has been at MCA since her freshman year. This is her third year in newspaper and she is excited to update others on what occurs at MCA. She is very involved in her church, Cottonwood Creek, which she has been attending since she was little, and serves in worship and student ministry there. In her free time, Wedemeyer enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling and singing. She's looking forward growing in her faith and building new relationships. Her favorite Bible verse is Nahum 1:7 "The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him."
