Today’s Senior Spotlight is Lucas Mohler and Joy Allen.

Mohler has attended McKinney Christian Academy since sixth grade. While at MCA, he participated in debate, marching band, concert band, and track and field. Outside of school, Mohler enjoys volunteering in his community. After graduation, he plans to attend Texas A&M University, majoring in international affairs. His favorite memory at MCA was hanging out with friends during the storm delay at the Brook Hill track meet. A fun fact about Mohler is that he once gave a seven-minute-long speech completely from memory and enjoys public speaking. His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 91:1.

Allen has attended McKinney Christian Academy since fifth grade. While at MCA, she participated in cross country, theater, and choir. Outside of school, Allen enjoys serving at her church in the media booth and the student ministry. After graduation, she plans to attend Boyce College, majoring in business administration and divinity. Her favorite memory at MCA was during her senior year when the cross-country team met up to go for a run together in Adriatica. A fun fact about Allen is that she was born on her due date and still likes to be on time. Her favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 41:10.
