Middle School Volleyball Faces off Against Levine

The Middle School D2 volleyball team puts up a fight against Levine

On Thursday, September 21, the Middle School D2 volleyball team faced off against Levine at home. The Mustangs lost the first set 13-25, and then won the second set 25-20. The Mustangs then lost the last set 4-15. Ultimately, MCA lost to Levine three sets to one. Seventh grader, Berkley Ballew said, “It was a hard game, but at least we tried our hardest.”

Their next game will take place on Monday, September 25, against Good Shepherd.

Luke Ashcraft is a freshman at McKinney Christian Academy. Ashcraft started attending last year as an 8th grader. Luke only plays basketball, but he plays in school and out of school leagues. Landry Draper will be in his second year at McKinney Christian Academy, entering the eleventh grade. This is his second year in Newspaper and will be the Business Manager. Landry enjoys playing basketball and pickleball in his spare time. He also takes a light interest in pottery when he is not enjoying sports. His favorite memory is winning the 2022 TAPPS art competition with an abstract sculpture. His favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 40:31.
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
