On Tuesday, October 11, all three McKinney Christian Academy Middle School volleyball teams hosted their last regular season game against Shelton before entering playoffs. The D1 team won their first set 25-7  and the second set 25-10. Eighth-grader Molly Walsh was asked about the team’s preparation for playoffs and said, “We have been practicing a lot and running our plays at every practice. We also have been trying to perfect our serves, so we should be ready.” The D2 team won their first set 25-23 but lost the last two sets 12-25 and 4-15. Eighth-grader Cana Heckadon was also asked what her team could improve on going into playoffs and said, “I think that we can definitely communicate more and try and work together more.” Lastly, D3 won both sets 25-11 and 25-21.
