Middle School Boys Falls to The Shelton Chargers

MCA Middle School Boys Soccer loses to Shelton at Home

On Thursday, January 25, the McKinney Christian Academy Middle School boys’ soccer team faced off against the Shelton Chargers. The Mustangs ended up losing to Shelton with a final score of 2-5. Seventh grader Trace Ackmann scored the two goals for the team. When seventh grader Beniam Messay was asked about how the game went he said, “The game was good they played tough, they were a lot bigger than us, we played good, we wore off the last 15 minutes of the game.”

Their next game is on Monday, January 29, against Legacy Christian.

Bren Williams is a junior attending MCA for three years. This will be her first year in newspaper. Bren will be playing on the MCA volleyball team. In her free time, Williams loves spending time with family and playing sand volleyball with her friends. She attends Cottonwood Creek and is in the youth program. Her favorite bible verse is Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand."
