On Monday, March 4, the local freshman group served McKinney Christian and the Lower School as part of their annual Missions Week. They were assigned a country and the freshmen and their group leaders decorated the room to teach the kids in a fun way. The Lower School students would learn about the country and then do one or two activities involving the country. Some activities included making maracas, flags and a relay race. On Thursday, March 7, all students went to Group Dynamix. They got to participate in teamwork games, ropes courses and dodgeball. On Friday, March 8, they served the school by cleaning up the cafeteria, making a staircase for theatre and picking up trash around the school. When asked about Missions Week, freshman Luke Dreffs said, “I had a great time bonding with the kids and getting closer to my school.”
