The MCA girls golf team finished eighth place at the state tournament this week, demonstrating both depth and determination against some of the toughest competition in the field. Leading the charge was freshman, Olivia Lazell, whose performance stood out greatly and finished 12th overall. Competing in her first state appearance, she delivered consistent rounds and handled the pressure with remarkable composure, finishing among the team’s top contributors. Her success not only highlighted her individual talent but also signaled a bright future for the program. Supported by a cohesive team effort, MCA proved they belong on the big stage, with Lazell’s breakout performance serving as a key highlight of an already memorable season. When asked about the season junior, Reagan Schueler, said, “It was a great season and a lot of fun, i am so excited to come back next year and do just as good.”
