Senior Spotlight: Jax Marshall and Drew Denton

Senior Spotlight Jax Marshall and Drew Denton

Today’s senior spotlight is Jax Marshall and Drew Denton:

Marshall has been attending McKinney Christian Academy since the 8th grade. While at MCA he has played baseball, basketball, and football. Outside of school he plays baseball and enjoys hanging out with friends and family. After graduation, Marshall will be attending the University of Houston, to play baseball and major in communications. His favorite memory at MCA is going on retreat senior year. A fun fact about Marshall is that he has an older brother. His favorite Bible verse is Romans 5:1.

Denton has been attending MCA since his Junior year. While at MCA he has played football and ran track. Outside of school he hangs out with friends and plays football. After graduation, Denton will be attending Oklahoma Baptist University, to to play football and major in Marketing. His favorite memory at MCA is Camp Unity. A fun fact about Denton is that his favorite movie is “Step-Brothers.” His favorite bible verse is Romans 8:31.

Nate Krusing has attended MCA since kindergarten and is currently in the 9th grade. This is his second year in newspaper. He enjoys time with his friends and family and loves playing sports. His favorite sports are baseball and Football. He also enjoys watching basketball. His favorite memory at MCA is winning the Middle School baseball championship. He is looking forward to being a newspaper writer and playing a role in contributing to the Mane Edition. His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
