On Monday, October 7, McKinney Christian Academy’s Lower School students attended the fun run pep rally. The pep rally was to show what the lower school was doing to raise money. They are trying to raise the funds for the kids’ shade down at the playground. Apart from Boosterthon, there are character traits for the kids to know each day, and all the traits relate back to scripture. There are also many fabulous prizes for the kids to win. The kids watched a video about the theme this year, and the theme was the Castel quest. Each day, the kids will watch a video with a trait for them to learn. Lower school kids will know focus, self-awareness, respect, trustworthiness, creativity, and Life-learner traits.
