On Monday, September 22nd, the McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs Cross Country team got the opportunity to showcase their abilities to the rest of the school during MCA’s annual Highlight run. During this run, middle school and upper school runners have the opportunity to showcase their skills, while parents, students, and staff can participate in games and win prizes. The event kicked off when the cross-country coach, Rhett McKeller, introduced the runners and their achievements. After that, parents and students got the chance to compete in a ’90s music challenge. When asked about the highlight run, freshman Brianna Dunne said, “Cross country is a sport we all love, and getting to have people cheer us on while we have fun and run with friends, it just brings us all together even more than our practices and meets.”
