Today’s Senior Spotlight Features Nicholas Catullo and Emma Ashcraft.

Catullo has been attending McKinney Christian Academy since the first grade. During his time at MCA, Catullo has played varsity soccer, golf and cross country. Outside of school, Catullo enjoys competing in Ironman Triathlons. After graduation, Catullo plans to attend Texas A&M, with his major being Business. Catullos favorite memory at MCA is winning second in state for cross country and golf. A fun fact about Catullo is that he likes to go on late night drives to get milkshakes. His favorite bible verse is Isaiah 41:10.

Ashcraft has been at MCA since her freshman year. While at MCA, Ashcraft has been the varsity boys soccer manager, the photography editor and has been involved with newspaper. Outside of school, she has done competitive dance for seven years. After graduation, Ashcraft plans to attend Oklahoma State University, with her major being Speech Pathology. Her favorite memory is going to Guatemala junior year for missions week, hanging out with the little kids and spreading God’s love. A fun fact about Ashcraft is that she has never broken a bone. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalms 119:37

Nate Krusing has attended MCA since kindergarten and is currently in the 9th grade. This is his second year in newspaper. He enjoys time with his friends and family and loves playing sports. His favorite sports are baseball and Football. He also enjoys watching basketball. His favorite memory at MCA is winning the Middle School baseball championship. He is looking forward to being a newspaper writer and playing a role in contributing to the Mane Edition. His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
