Today’s Senior Spotlight is Griffin Post and Ella Wedemeyer:

Post has been attending McKinney Christian Academy since kindergarten. While at MCA, he played soccer and participated in the yearbook program. Outside school, Post plays club soccer for FC Dallas, buys and sells sports cards and serves with the Young Men’s Service League(YMSL). After graduation, Post plans to attend University of Oklahoma, majoring in Finance. Post’s favorite memory at MCA is retreat in the cabins. A fun fact about Post is that he likes to buy and sell sports cards. His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 2:13.

Wedemeyer has been attending MCA since her sophomore year. During her time, she has been a soccer athletic trainer, played volleyball and was a member of the National Honors Society. Outside of school, she volunteers at church. After graduation, Wedemeyer plans to attend Baylor University and major in Nursing. A fun fact about Wedemeyer is that she slept outside on a mountain for a week. Her favorite Bible verse is Hebrews 12:1-2.

Nate Krusing has attended MCA since kindergarten and is currently in the 9th grade. This is his second year in newspaper. He enjoys time with his friends and family and loves playing sports. His favorite sports are baseball and Football. He also enjoys watching basketball. His favorite memory at MCA is winning the Middle School baseball championship. He is looking forward to being a newspaper writer and playing a role in contributing to the Mane Edition. His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
