Lil’ Stangs at the pumpkin patch

On October 8, the McKinney Christian Academy Kindergarteners had a great time at the Preston Trail pumpkin patch. They got to go on a hayride, pick out their pumpkin, and run through a corn maze. Murphy says, “It was super fun. I loved the hayride.” They all had a blast, and it was a wonderful experience for the kindergarteners to get closer to each other and grow together in Christ.

Andrew Long has been at MCA for 3 years and is a sophomore. This is his first year of newspaper and can’t wait to be a writer. He is a football player for the Mustangs. He also likes to play the up and coming game Brawl Stars on his free time. His favorite memory at the school is the football games with all the amazing aura in the stadium.  He is a Upper School Sports staff writer for the Mane Edition. His favorite verse is Matthew 10:22 “And you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.”

Hannah Doshier has been attending MCA since she was in third grade, and is now a Senior. She enjoys playing sports at MCA such as soccer and xc. Doshier spends most of her time outside of school by playing club soccer, and spending time with her close family and friends. This year is her third year in newspaper and she is so excited to be able to inform people about MCA through The Mane Edition. Her favorite verse is Isaiah 41:10   “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
