Senior Spotlight: Avery Schall and Manny Weaver

Today’s Senior Spotlight is Avery Schall  and Immanuel Weaver:

Avery has attended McKinney Christian Academy since 8th grade. During her time at MCA, she has been involved in Varsity Track and Field and JV Volleyball. Outside of school, she likes to serve in church and participate in club track and field. After graduating MCA, she plans to attend Samford University and major in health science . Her favorite MCA memory is being a student leader on the Costa Rica mission trip, and a fun fact about her is she was an actress in a card game commercial. Avery’s favorite Bible verse is Galatians 1:10. 

Manny has attended McKinney Christian Academy since 11th grade. During his time at MCA, he  has been involved in Varsity basketball. Outside of school, he likes to play basketball. His favorite MCA memory is going on the Guatemala mission trip, and a fun fact about him is he speaks French. Manny’s favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 54:17.

Carrington Lansford is currently a freshman and attending her fifth year at MCA. She enjoys playing basketball in the winter, cheering in the fall, and running track in the spring. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. This is her first year in newspaper as a staff writer and she is excited to be a part of it. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13, ” I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
