On Tuesday April 28, The MCA girls golf team is heading to the state tournament after a strong showing at regionals, highlighted by determined performances from both underclassmen and upperclassmen. Leading the way was freshman, Olivia Lazell, who shot an impressive 100, setting the tone for the team with confidence and consistency. Freshman, McKenna Rice, also played a key role, finishing with a score of 110 and proving that the future of the program is bright. Junior, Reagan Schueler, added valuable experience to the lineup, shooting a 109 and helping secure the team’s advancement. Her steady play and leadership were crucial in keeping the team focused throughout the competition. With a balanced mix of young talent and experienced players, MCA is heading to state with momentum and determination.
They have State on May 4th at CottonWood Creek Golf Course in Waco.
