MCA Football is Defeated by TCA Lubbock

The MCA Upper School football team was defeated by Trinity Christian Academy with a score of 54-14

The Mustang offense waits for the next play

On Friday, September 22, The McKinney Christian Academy Upper School football team went head to head with Trinity Christian Lubbock under the Friday night lights. In this matchup, the Mustangs were defeated by the Lions with a final score of 54-14. The Mustangs suffered an injury in the second quarter, senior Jacob Dover-Smith, to a dislocated shoulder. The Mustang’s offense was led by senior Cash Etheredge with 67 passing yards and 71 rushing yards. Senior Caden Brown had a few words about the outcome of the game saying, “TCA started strong and held strong the whole game. It was a hard fought battle in the end and we know what to work on the next game.”

The Mustangs next game is at Colleyville Covenant Christian on Friday, September 29.
