On Friday, September 29, The McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs football team went up against 5-1 Colleyville Covenant. The Mustangs started off slow and out-of-sync, while Covenant came out and  put 20 points of the board by the end of the first quarter. Senior Noah Wheeler ran the ball in for a eight yard touchdown. The three other points came from senior Max Luna’s field goal.  The MCA Mustangs slowly came back by the start of the third quarter. Assistant coach, Gerald Brence said, “I thought we played very hard through the game and it was a learning experience and I think we got better.”

The Mustangs play next against HSAA on Friday, October 6, at Ron Poe Stadium.
