MCA Varsity Football Defeats HSAA

The McKinney Christian Academy varsity football team defeats HSAA with a score of 42-12

On Friday, October 6, the McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs varsity football team went head-to-head with the HSAA Angels. The final score of this game was 42-12. One of the leaders in this game was Senior Noah wheeler, who had a combined 9 catches and rushes for 151 yards and 2 touchdowns Another leader was Senior Cash Etheredge rushed for 198 yards and 4 touchdowns and throwing for 112 yards and 1 touchdown while in the quarterback and running back positions. When Etheredge was asked how it felt to be back as QB he said, “It feels great to be back.” He also gave his linemen some credit when he said, “The blocking has been amazing.” The Mustang’s record improved to 4-3 after this win.

The Mustang’s head into their bye week and their next game will be against Dallas Covenant on Friday, October 20.
