On Tuesday, August 20, the McKinney Christian Academy JV volleyball team faced the Legacy Eagles. The Mustangs started the game very strong and won the first set 25-19. The Legacy Eagles had a serving run in the second set, leading to 12 quick points. However, with the Lady Mustang’s great teamwork, they battled back, but ultimately, it wasn’t enough as the set ended with a close score of 21-25. In the third set, the Mustangs won with a perfect serving led by sophomore Bailey Gerardis. Freshman Isabella Melton shared her thoughts on the game by saying, “Our team started and finished the game off very strongly, but in the second set, it got a little rocky.”
Their next game will be at home on Thursday, August 22, in the Tournament of Champions.
