On Tuesday, October 17, the McKinney Christian Academy Choir performed in the fall choir concert. The 6th-grade choir started the concert off with three songs, “The Ghost Ship” by Don Besig, “Climbin’ Up The Mountain” by Linda Spevacek, and “The Lord is My Light” by Mark Patterson. The Vocal Jazz ensemble followed with “Hey Jude” and “Sing, Sing, Sing” by Mark Brymer. Then, the Upper School Chorale sang “Cantate Hodie!” by Mary Lynn Lightfoot and “And the Night Shall Be Filled With Music” by Greg Gilpin. When asked about the concert, Choir Director Amy Jordan said, “The concert was very inspiring. It was amazing watching my students perform what they’ve practiced so hard on and I’m looking forward to our Christmas Concert coming up.” All Upper School choirs came together to close the performance out with “The Lord Bless You and Keep You” by Peter Lutkin.
