On Tuesday, November 16, the varsity MCA soccer team played against Tyler Grace. The Mustangs drove over two hours to get to the fields. This was the first game of their season. At the end of the first half, the score was tied 0-0. As the game continued, the Cougars put three in the net and ended up finishing the match 3-0. Sophomore, Mary Brasher, was asked how the team can improve. “I think we can communicate more and we need to connect our passes better. I think it went ok for it being our first game ever this year.” Sophomore, Sadie Blake, was also asked about her thoughts about the new team. “This was my first time ever playing with these girls and I cannot wait to get to know them and see how far we go this season.” The next MCA varsity soccer game is November 27, against HSAA.
