On Thursday, November 30, the McKinney Christian Academy girls’ varsity soccer team was victorious over Prince of Peace, scoring 8-1. The Lady Mustangs took their first win. With a few previous losses from the Mustangs, they came ready to play. The Mustangs were led to victory by four goals from senior Ava Thompson, three goals from sophomore Sadie Zbranek, and one goal from sophomore Sadie Blake. The team chemistry is continuing to grow every game. Sophomore Hannah Doshier adds, “We fought hard and worked well as a team. This win is a good way to set the tone for the rest of the season, and I am excited to see this team grow.”
Their next game is at home against Texas Storm on Monday, December 4.
