On Tuesday, February 20, the McKinney Christian men’s varsity basketball won against Colleyville Covenant in the Bi-District round of playoffs. Senior Uriah Boutte led the team in scoring with 28 points. During halftime, the Mustangs secured a slight lead of 32-31. When asked how he felt about the game, Junior Landry Draper said, “We didn’t play up to our potential defensively, but we were able to still pull off the win to continue our season.” The Mustangs beat Colleyville Covenant with a final score of 63-61.
The next playoff game will be played on Saturday, February 24, at Clyde High School against Trinity Christian Lubbock.
