Varsity Men’s Soccer Competes in their Last Game of the Regular Season

Mustang Men’s Soccer Pull Out the Win against Pantego in the Last Regular Season Game.

On Monday, February 20, the McKinney Christian Academy varsity men’s soccer team played against Pantego for their last game of the regular season. The Mustangs ended up beating Pantego 5-0. Seniors Max Luna, Breckin Billington, Liam Corley, Micah Faulkner and freshman Noah Faulkner scored for the Mustangs. When asked about the game, Corley said, “It was a great way to end our regular season with a win. Now it’s just about getting our minds right and locking in to prepare for our upcoming playoff game.”

The Mustang’s next game will be Thursday, February 22, against Lakehill Preparatory Dallas School at Dallas Covenant.

Nicholas Catullo is currently a senior and has been attending MCA since 1st grade. This will be his second year in newspaper. Catullo will be competing in cross country, soccer, and golf for his school. In his freetime, he enjoys racing in Ironman triathlons with his dad and hanging out with friends and family. His favorite memory at MCA is going to the cross country State Championship  his freshmen year. His favorite bible verse is Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
