On Tuesday, the Mustangs travelled to to Shelton for another TAPPS 2-4A district matchup. The Mustangs won the game in three sets, remaining undefeated in district play. The scores of the sets were 25-17, 25-13, and 25-14. Juniors, Kadence Ackmann and Bren Williams led the game in kills, finishing with nine each. The Mustangs fought hard to sweep Shelton and to keep their lead in districts. Sophomore, Sadie Blake led the game with three blocks. When asked about how she felt after the game, Senior Kylie Mullins says “I felt like the game went as expected, there were too many times where we lost focus, but overall it was a great time to exercise some skills were going to need for Dallas Christian this Thursday.”

The Mustangs will have a home game Thursday against Dallas Christian and will also be honoring their seniors.
