Mustangs Defeat Dallas Lutheran

On Tuesday, November 28, the McKinney Christian Academy men’s soccer team faced off against Dallas Lutheran at home. The Mustangs were able to get the victory over the opposing team with a final score of 8-0. Senior JC Harrison started the game out strong with two goals with an assist from David Roller. Then senior Max Luna scored an additional two goals followed by four goals scored by junior Kyle Kirkconnell, senior Micah Faulkner, and senior David Roller. When asked about the game junior Kyle Kirkconnell said, “It is definitely a team sport and our chemistry and communication helped us win the game.”

Their next game will be on Thursday, November 30, at Prince of Peace.

Wyatt Neale is currently a Sophomore and this is his first year at MCA. Neale is excited to get involved with the Newspaper and exercise his creative writing skills. Neale also serves on the Worship Band at MCA and enjoys spending time with his friends and family. His biggest priority is his relationship with the Lord. He hopes to make an impact this year as well as great new memories. His favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11-12 which says "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you."

Emma Ashcraft is a junior this year. She joined MCA as a freshman. This is her third year in Newspaper and she is excited to be photography editor in the class. Ashcraft is a part of a dance team at the The Dance Movement and has been dancing ever since she was little. On the weekends, she enjoys being outside and hanging out with friends. She attends Preston Trail Church and serves in the 2nd grade room every Sunday. Her favorite bible verse is Psalms 119:37. "Turn my eyes from worthless things, and give me life through your word."
