Girls Soccer Beats Shelton

Varsity Girls Soccer Take Down the Shelton Chargers In Their First District Match

On Thursday, December 7, The Lady Mustangs played the Shelton Chargers. The Mustangs’ beat Shelton 10-0 winning their first district game of the season with goals scored by juniors Amanda Goss, Kadence Ackmann, Casey Gerardis, freshmen Tatum Barnard, Sadie Blake, Hannah Dossier, M.E., Lizzie Gutschlag and two goals scored by senior Ava Thompson. When Thompson was asked what brought the Mustangs such immense success she said, “We communicated and connected very well. Wins like that make me very excited for the rest of district play.”

The Mustangs play again at home on Monday, December 11, against Southwest Christian.

Sky Miller has attended MCA since Pre-K and is currently a freshman. This is Miller's first year in Newspaper and she is very excited. Miller has played volleyball since 6th grade.
