On Saturday, January 14, the McKinney Christian Academy men’s basketball team faced off against the only other undefeated team in the district, Prince of Peace. Before the game, junior Jace Scott talked about the district match up saying, “This is a must win if we want to our district, Prince of Peace is a really good team, so we have to leave it all out on the floor.” It was a close game all the way through as the Mustangs were only down three at halftime. In the end, the Mustangs came up short, with a final score of 52-47. After the game, junior Caleb Atherton said, “We really fought all we could we just didn’t shoot the ball like we needed to tonight, luckily we get to see them again.”

The Mustangs’ next game will be away against Tyler All-Saints on Wednesday, January 17.
