On Thursday, February 8, the varsity women’s soccer team traveled to Irving Highlands to play in another district match. This was the second time the girls played Irving Highlands. The Mustangs started strong, as the score at halftime was 3-0. Junior Kadence Ackmann was asked about her thoughts on the game, and she said, “I thought that we played well. We need to keep playing hard and scoring to prepare for playoffs.” The game’s final score ended up being 7-0 with a Mustangs win.

The next varsity women’s soccer game is Monday, February 12, against Pantego Christian.
