Girls Varsity Basketball Plays Their Last District Game Against Brookhill

On Monday, February 12, the McKinney Christian Academy girls varsity basketball team played Brookhill. This game was their last district home game.  Junior, Hannah Massingale led her team scoring 10 points throughout the game. The Mustangs ended up losing with a score of 24-58. When asked about how she felt about the game Junior, Hannah Massingale says “We knew it was tough competition but we were persistent with effort and discipline. We tried our best and had fun for our last game of the season.”

Hey! I'm Allie Stephenson. I am a Senior and this is my third year at McKinney Christian Academy. This is my second year in a newspaper and I am going to be a staff writer. I play volleyball and softball for MCA. In my free time, I love to swim, hang out with friends, and go shopping. My favorite bible verse is "With God all things are possible" -Matthew 19:26.

Jude Bleecker is a freshman and has been at MCA for two years. He is looking forward to this years football season and excited to play and win. He is also involved in basketball and golf and super excited to get into those sports. This is his first year in newspaper and is ready to get started! He loves spending time with my family and friends and love watching sports. Bleecker loves to travel and be with family. His favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
