MCA Women’s Varsity Soccer Team Wins Against Pantego Christian

The Lady Mustangs soccer team defeat Pantego Christian in Area Playoff game.

On Monday, February 24, the Lady Mustangs Varsity soccer team played in the second round of playoffs against Pantego Christian. The Lady Mustangs won against Pantego 5-1. Junior, Hannah Doshier, Senior, Casey Gerardis, and Junior, Sadie Blake, each scored goal for the Mustangs. The leading scorer was Junior, Tatum Barnard, with two goals. Doshier spoke about the game, saying, “We played very well and I am excited to go into the next round of playoffs with my team.”

The Lady Mustangs Regional game is Thursday, February 27 at home at 3:30.

Brittany Bartoo has been attending MCA since Pre-K and is now a freshman. This is her first year in newspaper, and she is excited to be apart of the The Mane Edition. Brittany is currently apart of the varsity volleyball team for MCA. She is also planning to play basketball and softball for MCA in the winter and spring. Outside of school, Brittany plays club volleyball and she likes to spend time with her family and friends. Brittany’s favorite Bible verse is Psalm 139:14 “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
