On Tuesday, March 24, the McKinney Christian Mustangs earned a big win over Bishop Gorman, winning 21-0 in a dominant performance. The Mustangs came out hot and took control of the game right away. In the first inning, they scored 12 runs. It was a huge start that gave them a comfortable lead early. McKinney Christian did not slow down after that. They kept adding runs in the next innings and stayed aggressive at the plate. The Mustangs would end with scoring 21 runs and letting up 0 runs. On defense, the Mustangs were just as impressive. Junior, Angel Rivera, pitched and would face 6 batters and strike out 5 of them. The defense made the plays they needed, and Bishop Gorman was unable to score. With this win, the Mustangs improve to 3-0 in district play. They are showing great teamwork and confidence as they continue their season. When sophomore, Cal Miller, was asked about the game, he said: “We played as a team, and we succeeded. I am excited for the rest of the season.” The Mustangs play next on Friday, March 27, against Bishop Gorman.

Freshman, Jackson Wittwer, throws the ball.
