On Friday, April 17, the varsity track team traveled to Prince of Peace to compete in the TAPPS 4A District II meet. Senior Sadie Zbranek finished second in the 400-meter with a time of 1:03.03. Junior, Alex Villarreal, got second place in the 400-meter with a time of 50.98. Villarreal finished first in the triple jump with a length of 12.05 meters. Freshman, Cole Huffman, finished third in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 45.28. McKinney Christian’s men’s varsity relay team finished third in the 4×100 relay with a time of 44.27. McKinney Christian’s boys’ varsity relay team finished second in the 4×400 relay with a time of 3:34.10. The women’s varsity 4×200 relay team finished with a time of 1:53.17, placing second. The relay team finished third in the 4×400 with a time of 4:25.62. The regional track meet is on Wednesday, April 29, at UTA.
